Who is Turtledust?
I’m a visual bootlegger, print pusher and part-time mischief maker based by the seaside in the North East of England. You may have already made eye contact with my work in galleries, shops, cafés, clubs, a few very famous homes and walls worldwide, plus the BBC, Channel 4 — and yes, even my mum’s house. My actual name is Marty. Hello.

About the designs
No mass-produced AI here. Every Turtledust piece is built by hand using layered visual sampling, carefully remixed and digitally repainted to create the final scene. Some works also blend mixed media, from paint texture to video edits and collage.
Paper & printing
All Turtledust designs are printing on recycled matt stock (no shine, sheen or gloss for a more authentic, vintage output). The smaller prints of A3 and under are delivered flat as they are 280gsm perlino cotton and can't be rolled, they have a slight raised texture. Larger prints are printed on 200gsm recycled, unbleached art papers and most are matt coated to avoid scratching and light pollution damage. I DO NOT print my own products, I have carefully selected the right companies and individuals for the job and support independent business where possible.
Packaging & Delivery
I am a very eco and earth conscious company using ZERO PLASTICS (were feasible), the protective sleeves are either recyclable, biodegradable or compostable. The parcels are double protected with carboard inserts and delivered in double walled book wraps or thick walled tubes. I spend more on postage and packing to help deliver your items in the best possible condition (and to survive the heavy hands of some couriers!)
